Save the Krusty Krab Recipes and Orders: How to Build Every Plate

There is no recipe book in Save the Krusty Krab. The ticket is the recipe, and the ticket changes as your restaurant levels up. That is the whole system, and it is the reason crews that "know the burgers" start losing money around Day 4: the menu grows, the ticket order grows with it, and the muscle memory from Day 1 quietly becomes wrong.

This page covers the base Krabby Patty, the full list of order components the game uses, the order they unlock in, and how to decide which ticket to build first when six customers are waiting.

The Base Krabby Patty

The default burger is three parts, stacked bottom to top:

  1. Bottom bun
  2. Cooked patty — grilled, not raw, and not burnt
  3. Top bun

That is a complete plain Krabby Patty. Everything else in the game is a variation on this stack, and the variation is always printed on the ticket. A patty that comes off the grill perfectly but goes on the plate in the wrong layer position is still a wrong order.

Assembly happens at the assembly station. The station has a Clear button that resets the plate — use it the moment you realise the stack is wrong. Salvaging a half-built burger by pulling ingredients out is slower than starting over, and on a timed ticket it is the difference between a served customer and a refund.

The Full Order Component List

These are the components the game uses across its menu. The exact day each one appears is not published by the developer, so treat the unlock order below as the reliable part and the timing as player-reported.

Component Station Where it goes Notes
Patty Grill Between the buns Burns on a timer; a fire blocks the station
Bottom bun Assembly Base of the stack Always first
Top bun Assembly Top of the stack Always last
Cheese Assembly Above the patty First topping most crews unlock
Lettuce Assembly Above the patty Common early ticket addition
Pickles Assembly Above the patty Easy to forget on a busy ticket
Tomato Assembly Above the patty Mid-game unlock
Onion Assembly Above the patty Mid-game unlock; strong on the ticket list
Coral Bits Fryer Separate side Fryer item, not a burger layer
Soda Drinks Separate cup Ordered with a burger or alone
Milkshake Drinks Separate cup Later drink unlock; slower to pour

The unlock order the game follows is Soda → Cheese → Lettuce → Coral Bits → Pickles → Tomato → Onion → Milkshake. The practical consequence is that a Day 1 crew only ever builds buns and patties, then suddenly has to read a four-line ticket by the end of the first week. Do not treat the early days as the real game; they are the tutorial for reading tickets.

Reading a Ticket in the Right Order

A ticket is read top to bottom, and the plate is built bottom to top. Those are two different directions, and mixing them up is the most common assembly error in the game.

  1. Read the whole ticket before you touch anything. Count the ingredients.
  2. Place the bottom bun.
  3. Place the patty.
  4. Add toppings in the order the ticket lists them, not in the order you find them on the counter.
  5. Place the top bun.
  6. Press Clear only after the plate matches the ticket exactly.

Two habits make this fast. First, stage the ingredients before you build: pull everything the ticket needs onto the counter in one trip, so you are not walking back mid-stack. Second, call the ticket out loud if you are on voice chat — "cheese, lettuce, pickle" — because the assembler and the grill cook are working from the same ticket and the same timer.

Drinks, Sides and the Fryer

Not every ticket is a burger. Soda and milkshake orders come from the drink machine, and Coral Bits come out of the fryer. These are the orders that get abandoned during a rush, because they are not in the assembler's line of sight.

  • Soda is the fastest drink. Pour and hand off; do not let cups queue up.
  • Milkshake takes longer than soda and unlocks later. If a shake ticket is on the board, start it before the burger, not after.
  • Coral Bits are a fryer item with their own timer. Like patties, they punish being left alone.

The best crews assign drinks and fryer to one person and never rotate that job mid-shift. Switching stations mid-rush is how a shake gets poured into the wrong cup.

Rush Priority: Which Ticket First

When the board fills up, do not serve in the order the tickets arrived. Serve in this order:

  1. Anything already cooking. A patty on the grill is a sunk cost that becomes a fire if you walk away.
  2. Drinks and fryer items. They run on their own timers and can be finished while the grill works.
  3. Short tickets. A plain patty takes seconds to assemble and clears a table.
  4. Long tickets with many toppings. They take the longest, so start them early only if the grill is free — otherwise they block the assembler.

A useful rule for a four-player crew: the floater should always be working on the ticket the assembler is not building. Two people building the same burger is slower than one person building it and one person clearing tables for cash.

Common Order Mistakes

  • Wrong layer order. The ticket order is the recipe, even when the same ingredients are involved.
  • Serving before the bubble turns green. The game checks the match, not your confidence.
  • Forgetting the side. A burger with no Coral Bits is an incomplete order, not a burger.
  • Building ahead. Pre-making burgers for the next customer feels efficient until the next ticket is different.
  • Ignoring the Halloween menu additions. During the live event, Trick or Treater customers bring their own order behaviour — see the Halloween event page.

FAQ

What is the Krabby Patty recipe in Save the Krusty Krab? Bottom bun, cooked patty, top bun. Toppings go between the patty and the top bun, in the order printed on the ticket.

How many recipes are there? The game does not publish a recipe count. The menu is built from burgers with unlockable toppings plus fryer sides and drinks, and it expands as the restaurant progresses.

Do recipes change between updates? They can. The game was updated on October 23, 2026, and the Halloween event added limited-time customers. If a ticket looks different from this page, trust the ticket.

Is there a recipe book item? No. The ticket at the register is the only recipe display in the game.
